Great selection but prices are very high compared to the ranch 99 markets. If they lowered them we would go more often and purchase more items.Large selection of Fish, many you will see anywhere else. Small selection of produce but some Asian ones you cant get elsewhere. Tons of noodles. Didnt have Asian baked goods which was a bummer. I was hoping for those sesame balls with red paste inside!

Nothing else close to a “big” Asian store in north county area! I wish 99 ranch came but guess not. There’s everything here that you can use to cook a good ole Asian dinner. We come here for hot pot nights with veggies- bok choy, cabbage, rau rum, Thai basil, bean spouts and even dikon. They also have sliced meats for hot pots in the freezer. A meat and seafood counter. All the Asian marinates and sauces. It’s a small store but can’t complain because now I don’t have to drive all the way to Hmart in Miramesa!

An indispensable place to get the Asian ingredients I need :) has all of my necessities except for 盐焗鸡粉 and fruits of any usefulness, and loose-leaf tea. H-Mart has a wider selection obviously, but the nearest H-Mart is in SD. Great variety of meats, veggies, and snacks, although the pork is not the best quality in terms of taste. Love the pastry section in the front for -5 treats. Staff is kind.

This market brings back many familiar feelings of asian local grocery markets with its fresh soy milk, bakeries, and an assortment of asian ingredients.

They have a good selection of fruits, veggies, and products that you won’t find in many other places.

Very rude manager/owner would not let me shop in the store, no reason provided, told me I was trespassing so I said screw it Ill shop somewhere else, followed me all the way to the door with his camera from his phone pointed at me as if I had done something wrong, ive never done anything wrong there, never even ever had a chance to simply buy anything.I guess the owner just hates non Asian people.

Variety of Thai, Chinese, Philippines cooking ingredients. Fresh produces meat and fish also available. Price is a couple dollars different from some items that you can find in Ranch 99. This is not a big place like Ranch 99 or H Mart. It is quite small space to move around if there are several shoppers with shopping cart. Parking is free and share with other stores.

OPENING DAY busy as hell. The store claims its an international store and carries products across various cultures, and it does. If youre looking for East Asian and Pacific Islanders ingredients. A very strong focus on Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean and Japanese foods and snacks. A good thing since the amount of stores with that focus in North County are few and far between and usually limited.Price wise, it is slightly pricey especially for the meats. But they carry some specialty cuts that the other groceries dont. If you want to shop around; some of the [snack] stuff they sell you can potentially get at Daiso cheaper by about 1$-50 cents. But you pay for one-stop shopping too so yeah.Considering the year and the problem of a pandemic and a need for social distancing; they inherited what has to be what was the SMALLEST Fresh & Easy in Oceanside and with them cutting a good amount of floor space out for the seafood and meat butchery; its hard to move around in that area because folks want their fresh meats.Same for checkout, it was opening day; 10 am when I arrived the checkout line was long. I stuck around about 45 minutes longer (1 hour 30 minutes) than I wanted out of a misguided need for the line to shrink. Didnt happen; and again because its a small store, opening day and EVERY ASIAN AUNTIE was stopping by; no distancing is really possible. Also there were some empty shelves; but I cannot be certain if they were intentionally empty in some part of the store or if it was purely because everyone bought it out two hours before I arrived (they have bread goods right at the doors and 95% of the bread was cleared out and in folks carts). So if you like pan de sal; get there early.Overall; a solid store that Oceanside sorely needed. After the first month I hope the crowds mellow out and the growing pains ease; until then 4 stars out of 5.

Variety of Asian food. Fish, shells, crabs, udon, green tee ice-cream, etc. You name it. Unfortunately, I have to deduct 2 stars because of unfresh oysters I experienced to buy there.

Convenient local general Asian store located in Oside. Now just need a food court.

This is a great Asian market. I love that its so big. I couldnt find a particular brand I was looking for, but I didnt care because there were plenty of other choices. Its hard for me to imagine something I would need that they wouldnt have here.

I am so happy to have a local full service asian market in Oceanside. Its a bit smaller than most 99 Ranch markets but seems to have everything. The store is clean and well organized. Staff was professional and efficient. Prices were very reasonable. The fish and meat were fresh and presented well. The few negative reviews of this market did not correspond to what I saw. This is a very nice place to shop and very much needed and appreciated here in North County.

Asian grocery, not bad at all. Sure is better that driving all the way to San Diego.

They had fresh squid today and I am very happy. I love how close this place is to my house, like literally 2 min away.

Finally an Asian market in Coastal North County. A big one! Absolutely love it.

This is our go-to Asian market close to home, since we have moved further away from HMart. They have a variety of speciality produce items, in addition to fresh sliced meat great for making bulgogi and other delicacies. Check out their kimchi selection and pickled radish, noodles and dry goods.So much to like here!

This is the first Asian market that finally opened up in the Oceanside area, and I think the neighborhood is happy about this place. For those who are of Asian decent, now we don’t have to go all the way to San Diego to get Asian groceries. This place is similar and the closest to 99 Ranch Market. They carry a good amount of products that I would usually find in the Asian markets I find when I am in the Cerritos, Westminster, and San Gabriel Valley Area. They carry both Asian products and American products. I was looking for specific products, but they do not carry it at the moment. However, I believe I met the owner or manager, and he was nice and said that he’ll take my requests into consideration as they are continuously adding product based on customer needs.I recommend this place if you’re looking for Asian groceries/products.

Finally an Asian market in my neighborhood good fresh produce good fish and meats that you cant normally get in a convenience store or a grocery store fantastic!!! They need to have one of these in every corner!!!

This place is great! So happy to have such a large Asian market so close to home. We used to have to drive to San Diego to get what we needed for our recipes. Thank you for coming to Oceanside!!

My husband and I definitely were not expecting an Asian market with the name! We were so shocked when we walked in. Granted, it had a strong fish market smell, but that is due to the pretty big selection of fish. They were also frying fish that day so that helped. All and all, if youre looking to make a nice oriental/Asian meal or Ramen or anything of sorts, this is the spot. Some items may seem a little high priced, but a great local spot

Please people smell the chicken before you cook it bc I went to the store on 6/6/21 and bought chicken thigh boneless and it smell spoiled.....becareful....i called the store and no one answered

Very happy to finally have a major Asian market in town, even if its an 88 Ranch. Smaller store and selection than its bigger cousins further south and much further north. But its definitely a great place to get the basics!

Be careful when buying products from this market. My rice was infested with bugs and smelled rancid, and the meat I bought was spoiled. I called the market immediately, but no one answers the phone. When I went back to the store the next day, they would not issue a refund for selling bad food.

I found Lumpias. My favorite. I cant find these at other stores. But this grocery store does. Thank you

No nori, no gobo, so NOT the place to go if you wanna make some sushi rolls, even tho the assault of bad fish hits you as you walk in the door. Employees are not helpful either.

Just moved down to Oceanside from the bay area. I am a cook and Korean and I was scared I wouldnt be able to find good ingredients. My server at a Thai restaurant recommended this market to me and I was blown away! This is the best market in North County. By far. Their produce selection is incredible, they have so many cuts of meat and animal parts, if you cook, come here!!!! Its truly amazing and I will probably not shop anywhere else while I am here.

Wide variety of dried noodle dishes for quick, low cost, but very tasty lunches. Supplement with canned fish or meats and still pay far less than fast food. Also well stocked with items for dinners, fresh fish, etc... The smell can be a bit off-putting, but that is the nature fish markets. I love it.

Excellent selection of Asian and international foods. The fresh, fried fish is also a must here! Our go-to for all of our Asian grocery needs in North County SD!

Its like a market. Should be. You want fish. Fresh sea food the have it. Dont complain about smelling fish or sea food. Thats what they sell and much more and thats what makes this market nice to shop in.

Great to have fresh Asian food closer than Mira Mesa. Lots of variety, wide assortment of vegetables, meat and fish.

Picked up some Okinawa purple yams, live blue crabs and other Asian items. Danny at the seafood section was cordial, as always. Danny always makes our visits there pleasant.

A great meat butcher section along with large sections for ramen, sauces and noodles. For sure a go to when cooking Asian foods or grabbing some snacks.

Glad this opened in Oceanside as it was much needed! It’s clean, great ambiance, and have tons of selections to choose. I bought the biggest kimchi and it tasted bad. It wasn’t expired or anything as I thought that was the case but it wasn’t. The kimchi was very soft, didn’t have that fresh crunch texture. And the flavor was not there at all. Decided it was a hassle to return it and just threw it away. It might be a bad one I got so I’m not completely sure since I never got the big container kimchi. Still a 5 star

So excited to have an Asian grocery store close by! Its a little small but I think its big enough to grab Asian supplies you need. No need to drive all the way to Mira Mesa anymore for Filipino stuff.

Fresh vegetables and most importantly the store is so clean! Thank goodness I dont have to drive to Mira Mesa for Chinese market and Korean market. Short of hot food, they meet 95% of my Asian grocery needs. I have bought rice noodles, tofu, beef slices, leeks, herbs, onions, pho paste, instant ramens, kimchi for stew, tofu, udon packets... and a variety of frozen dumplings, dim-sum, red bean desserts etc. LOVE this store!

Loved that there is a closer store to shop. The smell when you walk in is not very pleasant though.

Everything on the shelves looked fresh and interesting, but the store smelled like a rotting dead animal. I had to walk out without making a purchase it smelled so bad. Fix the stench guys.

I found most of Oriental food processed and fresh are almost there. Fresh fish can be cleaned and deep fried for free.

TONS of Asian grocery items, things I can normally find at my local grocery, like oyster mushrooms, fish cakes, duck eggs, quail eggs, pork belly, etc etc. Prices are on par with what I would expect. Overall great addition to Oceanside.

Great seafood, live crabs, good prices on seafood and meats. Great variety of produce and lots of Asian products. Lots of Hispanic produce not found in other markets.

Glad there is one closer to me than having to drive to Murrieta. Store is cleanly stocked with a wide variety of items and hard to find food items.

Best choices for real authentic Filipino Food.

Only 4 stars based solely on the prices. I dont remember the 99 being as expensive, but all products are top quality, ESPECIALLY the seafood. I spend far too much time and money here. Best selection of quality Asian products locally.

Excellent selection, fresh produce and one of few stores anywhere (not just San Diego) of this size thats Filipino Pepper oriented. As half Ilocano, its an awesome store!!

Im so glad to have this store in the area. However, I have to reduce by 1 star because as is typical with Ranch 88, they always hire checkers with an attitude. Ive been to stores all over ca and its always the same. Wish this chain store would realize its bad business.

Oceanside needed this! Wonderful fresh veggies( big bag of baby bok choy for .50), oodles of noodles from every Asian cuisine, sauces and hard-to-find condiments. We did not get the seafood, and yes it smells somewhat fishy like a fish market, but am sure will get meat and fish at a later date.

Great place to get your asia goods and fish very clean and good fish quality and meats . They also fry the fish for you if you ask. Highly recommend

Store is new and just recently opened. Clean and well stocked. A Lot of good Philippine food. Meat and fish and seafood. Only thing it is very pricy. $$$$

Plenty of options for Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Korean, and Japanese food supplies. Not so much for Indian, Malaysian, and Indonesian. Very few options for rice which was a surprise since its an Asian Supermarket. Prices of stuff, especially for snacks, are a bit more compared to Walmart (Asian section).

Fresh seafood (blue crab, oysters, sashimi grade Ahi Tuna & Salmon, parrot fish & more), Palm Corned Beef, Coconut Cream, Taro, Taro Leaves (yup, Im Poly), and a variety of great Asian foods!! Too many good things to say + Management was super cool and helpful despite the chaos of a Grand Opening!! Go check it out for yourself... I hope this place stays here in Oceanside for good!!

Very clean store with a large selection of Asian foods from many different countries. The fish from the meat counter looked fresh and did not have the smell that is common to many other Asian markets.

Very nice full service asian food market with seafood and butcher cases. Theyll even fry your fish whole for you! Extensive selection of asian food, vegetables, and ingredients in a clean, well organized space. Prices are mostly reasonable. No more trips to Mira Mesa. :) Hopefully, theyll keep up the good work.

About time the north county got its own asian supermarket. Store is well-stocked including hard to find items. My wife and sister-in-law love it.

The place is kind of small but its clean, your prices are almost the same with other grocery stores around, what I like is your fresh seafood, your fresh Asian vegetables and items in the kitchen that hard to find around here. Thanks for putting one branch here in Oceanside.

Its so nice having a Asian store right down the street from where I live, they have a amazing selection of spices and drinks and amazing seafood selection would definitely stop by at least for a walk through to look at everything and grab a snack or two

Taro leaves sold here, most items higher than 99 ranch in Clairemont San Diego, but a convenient location.

Really clean, so many choices of fish, sauces, produce and noodles! Its a lot to take in on one trip. We will be back, ALOT.

This place has every little thing you want/need from an Asian grocery stores, especially products from Southeast Asia. The store is not as big as those Asian markets youd find in San Diego, but its decent. Since they include so many different types of products (I found stuff I couldnt find at other Viet/Korean market), so they might not have a large selections/brands for a certain products.
