Hi, my friend and I accidentally blocked each other at the same time and now cannot unblock each other as we aren’t able to see each others accounts to do so. Is there a solution to this?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

Hope you don't mind moving your post, since it fits better in this board.

 

That being said, we'd like to add some insights. Even if you block someone within the app, you should be able to find them by typing their username on the search bar and get the results with the profile in question as per usual.


So we'd suggest you check your usernames on your account pages and then search each other within the app. Once you find each other's profiles, you can go to the three-dot menu> Unblock.

Hey there @Charisgraham1992,

 

We hope you're doing great. 

 

In this case, we'd like to add that it’s possible for you to check for the users you've blocked by going to your account settings in the mobile app version. Once you're in settings, search for the Social> Blocked. You'll find there a list of all users you've blocked. Looks like this:

This is not working. I am getting a "Something went wrong Have another go" error message. I'm guessing it's because both of us have each other blocked so neither of our accounts can fetch the other's to show on the blocklist.

this is not working for me. i've been trying for a lot of time but it's still not working

I can’t go to their profile to unblock them because we have blocked each other. I’m not sure how to unblock their account.
