Some of the tutorials will list out different supplies, but these are some common ones.
Pumpkins – obviously! Head to the pumpkin patch or check your local craft stores for the artificial pumpkins like the ones below.
Paint – any acrylic craft paint will work. If you are using several different colors, we recommend getting a variety pack. Also, if there are themed pumpkins that look like they are going to require more paint, use spray paint instead. Some also prefer to use chalk paint, but it can be a little more expensive.
Hot glue gun – some of our Disney pumpkin painting ideas have embellishments and these are best attached by using hot glue. I really like the Ryobi glue gun because it’s cordless and the tip is narrow so it’s really good for precision. AND the battery is rechargeable, so that’s nice.
Make all of the characters from the Disney movie, Inside Out! This is a great idea when you have pumpkins that are different shapes and sizes.
The whole gang is here and so much fun to paint! This is a great idea for groups working together on a contest.
Pick your Disney princesses and get to crafting! Your little girl will love painting these and adding all of the cute and sparkly embellishments.
Have Moana lovers around your house?! These are great no carve ideas for using mini pumpkins.
Here the wings are made from craft foam, but you could also cut out a scrap of cardboard and paint them black for the same look. She uses faux pumpkins so they are all about the same size, but you could recreate this idea on real ones.
She is one of my favorite Disney characters! This idea is super cute and could totally win a pumpkin painting contest.

Who loves Tim Burton? Jack and Sally turned out really cute and overall this idea is pretty easy to paint.
Remember the girl in Willy Wonka? How could you not it looks just like her! The base color is going to take several coats of blue paint, but the end result is such a winner! I would also try to use spray paint instead of acrylic paint so it takes less time.
If you have a fake white pumpkin that needs a simple design, go with Coco! Add the face using black paint or if you have a cutting machine like a Cricut, I am sure you can find a file to cut out of vinyl to make it easier.
This one calls for some real skills, but it was so great we couldn’t leave it out! Can I just say this is one of my favorite movies to watch during this time of year!

This painted pumpkin idea uses the cheap trick or treating buckets and each one is hot glued together to make this tiered unique pumpkin decor.

I love how this pumpkin turned out, it’s so pretty and definitely screams Rapunzel.
Baby Yoda from Star Wars is really easy to make and uses craft foam on the side of the pumpkin for his ears.
