Wytheville Community Center Aquatic Facility
The Town of Wytheville’s Community Center provides first class wellness, fitness and recreation programming for the region of Southwest Virginia. As the primary feature of the community center, the swimming pools, which were designed by Aquatic Design Consultants, Inc., accommodate multi-purpose programming for residents of all age groups with a variety of needs.
The main component of the pool is a 6-lane 25 yard competition pool that is configured to allow at least 2 lanes of lap swimming at all times. The waterpark portion of the facility has a water slide, pipe waterfall, arch spray, mushroom spray and lemon drop spray feature. There is also a therapy pool and a multi-person whirlpool for the adults to enjoy.
