Facebook accounts get locked because they violate guidelines in some way.

We have mentioned 4 solutions to unlock your locked Facebook account.

The Facebook unlock methods include with or without ID proof or phone number.

There may be times when your Facebook account or somebody else’s account may get locked and you want to know how to unlock your FB account. Here’s how:

Why does Facebook block some accounts in the first place?

Facebook locked account,

Well, the simple answer to this is that the person in question probably violated some of Facebook’s stringent rules and regulations. Before you go forward by unlocking your account, our suggestion would be to find out at your personal level about why it was even blocked in the first place. This will help you so that rectification measures can be taken so that one does not land up in such a position again.

What can be done in such a situation?

There are four possible solutions that you can do to unlock your locked Facebook account:

1. The first method that you can use is filing an appeal to Facebook with all of your identity details. This appeal though can be submitted only within 30 days after the account is blocked. Post 30 days, as per Facebook rules, the account will be disabled permanently. So, haste!

2. Another method that one can choose is to clear the browser cache and cookies. Sometimes what happens is that Facebook may just lock or block your account for only a few hours. But the account will still show as locked and clearing the cache might resolve the issue.

3. Other than those above ways, you can also try to verify your identity on Facebook and retrieve your locked account. This can be done by clicking on ‘Forgot Password’, enter your email ID, Phone number or both, and finally responding to the verification link or verification code that you receive. Once all of these things are entered and verified, you should be able to unlock the account.

4. Finally, when you are stuck in such a situation, you can also try requesting your friends (who have been already assigned as trusted contact) to visit this Account Recovery page. They will have to click the recovery link and send you the login code that they receive. You have to enter that code to access your locked Facebook account.
