The Dream defends his WBC Junior Welterweight Title against Garcia on April 20. The build-up has been dominated by Garcia’s social media activity, raising concerns over his mental health. Garcia admitted to smoking weed and drinking alcohol. He has also posted on various topics, including trafficking. Garcia wanted the fight to take place in Vegas, but no venue was available for April. The fight will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, instead. However, the response has not been a sell-out. Now, Haney has called on his fans to buy tickets.

Haney has been accused of not being the biggest name. Reports said his fight with Regis Prograis only resulted in 50,000 PPV buys. However, he did sell out the arena, which was in his hometown San Francisco, CA. The ringside seats for the Haney-Garcia fight are approximately ,000-10,000. Meanwhile, the PPV price has been set at , live on DAZN, raising suggestions that the prices are not affordable. Garcia has publicly said the ticket prices are too high.
