Writing a review since this is the 2nd time weve had a situation at the pharmacy. The first time my husband brought home our infant daughters medication. I saw the dose was different than what we discussed at the doctors office. I proceeded to look and they gave me the wrong childs medication. The name was not our daughters. The medication was the same but the dose was more than we were supposed to give. When we brought back the medication they said we didnt give you the wrong medication. The childs name on the prescription was literally not my child. That brings us to the second mishap today getting my childs medication we got the right prescription right name/dose but were given a syringe with the medication. The syringe was a 10ml syringe the dose to give of my daughters medication is 0.7ml. Tell me how to draw up less than one ml on a 10ml syringe its impossible. People not in the healthcare field would think that syringe is correct and could possibly fill it to 7ml for a 0.7ml dose. Horrifying. I asked the pharmacist just to confirm a medication that I was picking up for myself was safe for breastfeeding she told me to talk to the pediatrician.the pharmacist should know the answer to that. Anyway definitely switching pharmacies after my interactions. They are also not friendly at all. It would be one thing if they acknowledged their mistake but to blatantly say its not wrong when it clearly was isnt great.

One of the staff members constantly complains if you want to be cashed out. She wants us to use self check out. I do not work for CVS. I have no desire to work for CVS so I am not going to cash myself out.

Disappointing pharmacy staff who lacks sympathy in their communication with patients and their relatives. Being a healthcare professional myself, a physician, I was deeply concerned regarding the lack of borderline sympathy in handling my mom's lost prescription, which is not a controlled substance, meaning that it's not an opioid, but it is merely an ordinary, yet vital, medication that cannot be abused. I had no idea that a pharmacy clark could be so derogatory; and when prompted that if my loved one does not receive her medication today she would experience discontinuation symptoms of SSRIs, such as severe headaches, tremors, etc. she said, completely lacking emotions, "then pay for it yourself and won't need to deal with insurance approval". This is after her primary care physician, who is an extremely busy doctor, had authorized the replacement prescription in less than an hour, knowing that my mother needs her medication. Will be changing my pharmacy to BigY.
