Highland Stable

IMG 1628.jpeg

Highland Stable is a quaint and peaceful stable that can be found in the Southwestern part of the Faron region. Some of its nearest attractions are the Faron Grasslands and the beaches that lie to the South. The areas surrounding Highland Stable, particularly throughout the Faron Grasslands, are some of the best places in the game to find high-stat horses.

Play

There are several Side Quests and Side Adventures you can complete in and around Highland Stable:

Side Quests and Adventures Around Highland Stable

The Flute Player’s Plan

Bring Peace To Faron!

An Eerie Voice

Highland Stable Activities

There are also a couple of activities around Highland Stable.

A Horse Race

Faron side quests totk-IMG 1590.jpeg

Sitting by the fire in nice weather, you can find an NPC named Blyne. He will challenge you to a horse and cart race. The aim is to get through all ten arches without falling off your horse or losing your cargo.

If you complete the course within one minute and thirty seconds, he will give you a Pony Point as a reward. If you beat that time on your first try, you get a bonus two Pony Points. If you beat Blyne’s record time of sixty seconds, he will give you three Pony Points as a reward.

The Giant White Stallion

Faron Side Quests totk-IMG 1582.jpeg

Highland Stable is also very close to the Lake of the Horse God, which used to be the lair of the Horse God Malanya in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Malanya no longer resides there. However, you can find and tame one of the game’s rare horses in its place.

Faron well and cave map locations totk-IMG 1657.jpeg

The Giant White Stallion is a ginormous white horse with a blonde spikey mane that somewhat resembles Link’s hair. It is difficult to sneak up on without being noticed, so it’s a good idea to gear up with some Sneaky Elixirs and, depending on what stage of your adventure you’re at, some stamina-boosting consumables.

You will need at least one and a half wheels of stamina to tame the Giant White Stallion, and it is necessary for the Ishokin Shrine Quest.

Beedles Inventory

Beedle sells the following wares at Highland Stable:
