Pick-up Schedule

Overview

Place your garbage, yard waste, and recyclables at the curb by 6:00 am on your scheduled pick-up day.

Refuse containers may be placed at curbside the evening prior to scheduled pick-up day. All emptied refuse containers shall be removed from curbside / right of way by midnight of the scheduled pick-up day.

Garbage

Your garbage pick-up days are Monday / Thursday, or Tuesday / Friday depending on where you live.

Yard Waste

Your yard waste pick-up day is Wednesday.

Holiday Pick-up Schedule
There will be no curbside pickup for garbage, recycling or yard waste if your scheduled pickup day falls on the holiday listed below:

New Year's Day – January 

M L K  Day - January

Presidents Day -  February

Memorial Day -  May

Juneteenth - June

Independence Day -  July

Labor Day – September 

Thanksgiving Day – November

Christmas Day -  December 

During a week with a holiday, trash, recycling, and yard waste collections for the week will be postponed by one day for residents in the City of Palmetto. Your regular garbage schedule will resume the following Monday.
