Ronald J. Lagoe, 75, passed away on Monday at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse after a brief illness. Ronald served as the executive director of the Hospital Executive Council for over 40 years and took great pride in his career. Ronald published many peer-reviewed articles throughout his life, primarily focused on healthcare planning. He had many personal interests as well, including astronomy, space exploration, history, and football. He earned multiple degrees from Ohio University, including two individual PhDs, one in History and one in Public Administration. Peter Capizzi, 91, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at home. Born and raised in Oswego, he moved to Long Island in 1958 before settling in Camillus in 1996. Peter was a 1951 graduate of Oswego High School and received his master's degree from New York University. A U.S. Army veteran, he was an industrial arts and driver education teacher for 32 years at Bellport High School before retiring in 1989.
