It was hard to find the location because the GPS didn't lead me to the correct place... and the DMV wasn't clearly labeled (it instead has a sign that it's the "tax collector," and even that sign is hard to see). There was pretty much no wait since everyone had strict appointment times. The staff was nice and directed me how to follow the COVID protocols (e.g., whether I should wear my mask for my photo). However, apparently I could have paid extra to get a special type of license that would have allowed me to travel without a second document, and no one offered me this... so now, as I understand, I will have to take my passport on a plane with me to prove my identity?

It was an amazing visit, I was early and business done before the actual appointment time. Great service, knowledgeable Clerk, I renewed my handicap sticker and tag registration. Walked out at the actual appointment time.

Made an appoint for this morning tho renew my drivers license. Appointment was for 11:15. They printed me a number when I arrived. Over an hour later, my number had still not been called. After another 30 minutes, I threw in the towel. The people that worked there acted as if you owed them something.
Pretty disappointing.

Do you have provisional driver's license and oral exams

This office offers Drivers License services. Please note, In Florida, you are required to obtain a learner's permit before you can receive a provisional driver's license. The learner's permit requires that you pass a written exam. Once you have the learner's permit, you can begin driving with a licensed driver in the passenger seat. After a certain amount of driving hours and passing an additional written and road test, you can receive your provisional driver's license.
