Use call barring to block or unblock calls

In this article:

This article explains how to manage call barring on your EE Pay Monthly plan, blocking or unblocking calls to ensure control over incoming and outgoing calls.

What is call barring?

Call barring allows you to block incoming, outgoing and international calls at home or abroad. This way, you don't have to worry about unsuitable calls being made or received on your phone.

About call barring

  • there's no charge for this service
  • it’s easy to manage through your phone's settings
  • it's ideal for parental control
  • you can still dial emergency numbers like 112 and 999

Call barring abroad

If you want to control calls while you're abroad, you can bar all incoming and outgoing calls.

Not all foreign networks support call barring, and making outgoing calls may still be possible.
