Parks and Recreation Facilities

The Habersham County Parks and Recreation Department makes its facilities available to the general public at reasonable hourly rates. Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center - 120 Paul Franklin Road, Clarkesville GA

The Aquatic Center consists of two indoor heated pools (one 8-lane lap pool and one recreation pool), two full-size gyms that are separate from one another with audio systems, an aerobics room, one conference room, two large meeting rooms with kitchens, one activity room, a men's and women's locker room each with showers and lockers, public restrooms, and recreation staff administration offices.  For information on pool hours and rates, click on the link to the right.

HCPR Fitness Center - Located Inside Aquatic Center

HCPR Fitness Center is a comprehensive fitness center located in the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center.  HCPR Fitness Center hours are: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.; Friday, 5:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.  Dial the Fitness Center directly at 706-839-0240 for membership information.  Memberships are all-access which include access to the pools, locker rooms, and gymnasiums. 

Aquatic Center Sports Complex - 120 Paul Franklin Road, Clarkesville GA

The Aquatic Center Sports Complex is located behind the Ruby Fulbright Aquatics center on Paul Franklin Road and consist of one high school baseball field (grass infield), one high school fast-pitch softball field, and two adult softball fields (skinned infields).  These fields are connected to a state of the art press box viewing all fields from a "home plate/bird's eye" point of view, as well as concessions and restrooms.  The grounds also consist of two full-size football fields with goal posts and concessions/restrooms, one large pavilion, a tennis and pickleball court complex with two tennis courts, six pickleball courts, lights, restrooms, and one small pavilion.

Fairgrounds - 4235 Toccoa Hwy, Clarkesville GA

The Fairgrounds consist of 3.5 acres with one multi-purpose building with several access points for large vehicles and machinery (great for a farmers market, flea market, tool show, gun show, etc.), a horse arena (great for rodeos), several livestock shelters, and concession/restroom areas. 

Diamond Memorial Park - 4235 Toccoa Hwy, Clarkesville GA

The Diamond Memorial Park consists of a press box viewing the four main ball fields from a "home plate/bird's eye" point of view, as well as concessions/restrooms. The four main ball fields consist of three grassed infield youth baseball fields and one skinned infield youth baseball/softball field.  On the outer banks of the park, there are two additional ball fields for t-ball/coach pitch, batting cages, and a playground.

Soccer Fields

Soccer fields are located behind the Aquatics Center on Paul Franklin Road and on the Fairgrounds property. They consist of two concession/restroom stands.  There are two separate soccer fields at each location large enough for several field layouts for multiple youth and adult games to take place at one time.  Both fields have lighting for nighttime games.
