Greg Gutfeld is open about his political views, but the Fox News host tends to keep his marriage to his wife, Elena Moussa, private.

Gutfeld and Moussa met while on a work trip in Portugal in 2004, and they got married just a few months later. While appearing on the Club Random Podcast in March 2023, Gutfeld opened up about meeting Moussa for the first time.

"I met her and I go, ‘Oh, that’s my wife.’ I just knew it,” he told host Bill Maher. “And then I spent three days in Portugal trying to talk to her.”

After two decades together, Moussa and Gutfeld welcomed their first child together in late 2024. The couple announced their daughter's birth in a statement shared with Fox News.

So who is Greg Gutfeld’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Elena Moussa and her relationship with the anchor.

She works in fashion

Moussa has worked in fashion for years and has been credited as a stylist in magazines across the globe. She frequently shares her work on Instagram, including her projects for Venice Magazine, Design Scene and L’Officiel, among others. She has also been praised for her personal style, earning recognition as one of The Cut's 21 best-dressed people at New York Fashion Week in 2015.

According to her LinkedIn, Moussa enrolled at the Parsons School of Design in New York City in 2015 to study fashion.

She graduated in May 2017, sharing an Instagram post of her and her friends at the ceremony.

She’s from Russia

Moussa is originally from Russia, where she was living and working as a photo editor for Maxim Russia when she first met Gutfeld, who was the U.K. edition’s editor-in-chief at the time.

Shortly after they got together, Moussa moved to London to be with the journalist, but Gutfeld's contract at Maxim ended a few years later in 2006, per Campaign, and was not renewed. From there, the couple relocated to N.Y.C., where both of their respective careers took off.

When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Moussa’s mother was stranded in Ukraine and had taken shelter in a hotel in the town of Lviv. With help from Gutfeld’s Fox News colleagues, she was able to escape to Poland and reunite with her daughter. Gutfeld shared the news during a segment of The Five and played a clip of the moment.

“Oh my God, it was awful. It was absolutely awful,” Moussa said in the video, when asked what it was like waiting for her mother’s safe arrival. She added: “But I’m so happy to have her here.”

Just five months after they met, Gutfeld and Moussa got married in a civil ceremony in New York, according to The New York Times. Though they haven't said much about their wedding or marriage, Gutfeld shared a rare anecdote about Moussa in his 2008 book Lessons from the Land of Pork Scratchings: A Miserable Yank Finds Happiness in the UK, which chronicled his time abroad in London.

“I should mention that things with Elena are good. After dating for five months, we get married,” he wrote. “Elena wants me to take the bus and see the city. Without her to egg me on, I'd choose instead to simply sit at home and watch Big Brother, my new favourite show.”

They share a dog together

Gutfeld and Moussa share a French Bulldog named Gus, whom they adopted in October 2022. Gutfeld frequently shares photos of Gus on social media, and the puppy has even made several appearances on The Five and Gutfeld!

A few days after they brought their new dog home, Gutfeld introduced Gus to viewers during a segment of The Five and joked that he chose a French Bulldog because the breed resembles him. “That’s the first thing my wife said when I sent the picture,” he recalled. “She goes, ‘He looks just like you.’ ”

She keeps her relationship with Gutfeld private

While Moussa occasionally shares glimpses into her family life, she’s less forthcoming when it comes to her relationship with Gutfeld. Over the course of their marriage, she’s only shared one photo of her husband on Instagram.

Gutfeld is equally as private on his own social media accounts, although he does share the occasional shot of Moussa. Shortly after his late-night talk show, Gutfeld! launched in 2021, he shared a black-and-white photo of his wife while they were out to lunch celebrating.

She and Gutfeld share a daughter

In December 2024, the couple announced the arrival of their first child, a baby girl named Mira. Gutfeld penned a statement and it was shared on Fox News' The Five.

"It is with great joy that my wife Elena and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs," he wrote in part.
