Sports and Hollywood don't always mix, but certain NBA stars find themselves in the Hollywood limelight thanks to their relationships, such as the many NBA stars who have been romantically linked to the Kardashians. Klay Thompson was recently in a whirlwind romance with actress Laura Harrier, and for a while he found himself very much the center of the media's attention. So what is the truth about their relationship?

Some sources reported that Thompson started dating model Paige Carmen back in the summer of 2021, and Laura Harrier seemed to move on that summer too. However, Klay Thompson and Laura Harrier's fling has come back into the news recently thanks to Thompson's teammate Jordon Poole. Back in 2019, Poole commented on a picture of Harrier and Thompson and asked if they would go on a double date with him and Zendaya. The only catch was that Poole and Zendaya weren't actually dating – Jordan Poole was hoping Laura Harrier could set him up with her Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star. This whole exchange occurred back in 2019, but some fans on the internet have recently rediscovered Poole's comment and it's gone viral all over again.
If you aren't a sports fan, you may be more familar with Klay Thompson due to his beef with Drake, but really he is mosy well-known for his shooting skills on the basketball court. Apparently, he is also infamous for shooting a shot at famous models. Over the years, he has been involved in different relationship scandals. He has reportedly dated several Instagram models and actresses. In 2015, he dated model Hannah Stockings for almost a year.
Soon after, he was romantically linked to Instagram influencer Abigail Ratchford after the model posted a tweet with Klay’s dog. Then, he was rumored to be dating cheerleader Cherise Sandra, but the beauty denied it. He was then linked to basketball player Tiffany Suarez when they were spotted on a dinner date. All these romantic involvements happened in 2015.

In 2018, the NBA star went out with Spider-Man: Homecoming actress Laura Harrier. Before that, Klay was dating model Carleen Henry, with whom he broke up due to privacy issues as the model had revealed too much information about their relationship. Good thing is, both Klay and Laura like to keep things between them private, though they were spotted together multiple times.
The two were seen spending the New Year together, and though they were photographed holding hands and getting cozy, neither of them confirmed the relationship. At the time, they preferred to keep their real status very private. But despite keeping their relationship low-key, the couple reportedly broke up in mid-2019, and then somehow managed to get back together in July.
Klay and Laura appeared to reconcile when they were spotted together holding hands in Malibu and attending a Dodgers game. The next month, they went on a romantic trip to France. They then made their official red carpet debut as a couple at Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party in February 2020.

Though they once reconciled, rumor has it that Klay and Laura have already separated ways again. It seems as though that the two lovers just can't figure things out or catch a break in their relationship. On Instagram, the basketball champion posted an unexpected Valentine’s Day post. He shared a photo of him and his friend Jack Ward sailing into the Pacific Ocean. One of his followers commented, “Thompson is looking for his own Disney princess Ariel at sea.”
Currently, there’s been no sign of any recent girlfriends or dates on Klay’s social media. Could it be that his relationship status with Laura Harrier remains “complicated”? Only time will tell.
