It definitely eliminated odors; however, it does leave a chemical smell. We used it in a hotel room where the air was stagnate before the A/C kicked on. Also, in our mud room where we dry off wet dogs.

I bought the Thunderstorm 3 Because our dog had an accident on the carpet. Used it one day. The smell didn’t go away but I lost my voice and started coughing and my lungs hurt. I was not even in the same room as the unit. I had to leave the house. Tried to return but you need an authorization number and they don’t answer phones or reply to emails, so I can’t get the return authorization. I did research and ozone is damaging for anyone with a lung issue and for small pets. Luckily I turned it off before our birds got sick. I guess I will return it without authorization and get delivery confirmation and fight it out with my credit card company.

The Thunderstorm air purifiers unfortunately are not worth the money. When I first got them I LOVED them. The air smelled fresh and clean. Within a month one completely stopped working. I got ahold of the company and planned a return and exchange. By the time I had it ready to ship out (at my expense) the second one stopped working. I sent them both out and got replacements. The new ones don't even have a scent. I can't even tell if they are working but they are very loud. These are not cheap so I'd expect them to last longer than just a couple months! Very disappointed.

I bought an Edenpure copper heater in October 2023. It worked great at first. We used it from November until spring of 2024. So for 4 months no problem. The heater sat unused all summer and I made sure to clean the filter. Then in November of 24 I turned it on high and it ran for a few minutes and then powered off. Did all the troubleshooting and called customer service only to be told it seems to be overheating but my warranty expired so they won't fix it. I paid 0 for a heater I only used for 4 months. Such a waste. Just wanted to share my experience. They only have a 1 year warranty.

Bought two Edenpure Thunderstorm Oxileaf II's 2.5 months ago and both have stopped working. Visible corrosion on the plugs. I can get one to come on if I put it on an extension cord and carefully move the plug until it's just right, No luck with the other one at all. Very disappointed!

First 3 lasted less than a year - company replaced all 3. After 2 months, 1 of the three died - other 2 seem to still be operating - no warranty on replacements. They do produce a noticeable pleasant aroma, when they're working!. I suspect the remaining 2 won't last for long. A relatively expensive layout for a product that has poor longevity! Do your homework and find a better solution. I'm using Essential Air units now and so far, so good.

I decided to clean my new G9 Air Purifier a little early, even though the "C" reminder light hadn't come on yet; but after reassembling, the C came on and wouldn't go away. When I called customer service, she had no answers for that except to send it back, at my expense, for a replacement. I also asked about the sensor that is supposed to be cleaned, but the tiny pictures in the user manual don't make clear what it looks like. She had no more clue than I did. When asked if she could refer me to a technician familiar with the product, she said there were only the four of them answering phones.
MoreWhen I suggested her bosses then need to train them on the products so they could actually help customers. I then got a firehose stream of complaint about being overworked and too busy, engineers in China where it's built, etc. etc., "Have a nice day", CLICK. I'm stuck with a partially functioning product and no recourse but to send it back "at my expense". I got the impression this complaint had happened to her before and guessing I could expect the same if I did. I'm remembering now why I had decided never to buy Edenpure products again, too.

I bought these because I knew of the technology and had a unit that I bought from a different company in 1998 that had finally quit working. The first one failed within a few days of plugging it in and Edenpure replaced it no questions asked. However, the other one and the replacement failed within three days of each other in September. I bought these in July. Edenpure will not replace them unless I pay to ship these back to them. This is horrible, I'd never buy another item from that company. I did buy a heater from them, but after researching, I doubt it will last one season either.

Was quite interested in a small plug in air purifier to take care of cooking smells or fireplace smells---intermittent use. I used this item twice and at first the ozone smell bothered me and upon second use I was used to that smell and appreciated the unit to remove a smoky smell from cooking bacon. --it was fine. Today I tried it for the third time and while plugged in, the blue light never came on. I have had this unit for maybe 3-4 months. What a disappointment that I have no recourse after only two uses. The warranty on the product is 30 days--I should have taken notice of that.

One unit broke in a little over 30 days and I was going to have to pay to return it but the woman gave me an exception and sent me a return label and then I had to wait for that unit to be returned for a replacement. Now I noticed the other two did not make any sound but the blue light was on. However, the units were not working and they won’t turn blue, they are dead. I purchased these in August 2024. These are garbage. Buyer beware. I can't believe John Fredrick’s could endorse this product. This product does not deserve a one star. I called and left a message again, I wouldn’t want to answer out of embarrassment so I request a refund.
