‘Ready to throw my TV through the window’ viewers fume over ‘most annoying advert’ in America – there’s clear winner

SOME TV enthusiasts have shared their takes on the worst adverts from this year and they have suggested a winner.

Fast food chains, insurance brokers, and drug companies have torn viewers’ minds as they pick apart the TV time they hate the most.

Some people complained about the cringe factor of these clips while others complained about the contents.

Names large and small made it onto a Reddit post on the subreddit r/CommercialsIHate.

User Galaxygirl181 put up a poll to ask people which adverts from 2024 they hated the most.

Jardiance, a drug used to treat type 2 diabetes, topped this Reddit list with 134 votes.

This commercial was a musical-style clip that featured people in an office space singing about the medication and its treatment.

The advert was further ripped into through the Reddit posts’ comment section.

“It’s not really a fair fight,” one person wrote.

“Jardiance is like a generational talent among bad commercials, an inner circle hall of famer.”

“Just rename the sub jardiance commercials hate,” another Redditor said.

The extreme reactions continued in the comments about other adverts too.

Even Wendy's was not safe from the advert critique.

“Ugh. The Wendy's commercials have me ready to throw my TV through the window,” one person wrote.

Liberty Mutual’s baby advert came second on this Reddit list with 117 votes.

This commercial showed a mom and her sister standing in front of the Statue of Liberty with a baby.

Redditors passionatley shared their negative opinions on some commercials running on American TV this year.

A user created a poll to gauge people's thoughts so far.

As the mom boasted about savings she made through using Liberty Mutual the baby uttered its first word which was “Liberty.”

One commenter emphasized their particular disdain for the commercial.

“Liberty Mutual, hands down,” they wrote.

Instacart came in third with 38 people having voted for its football commercial.

The fourth spot went to Mcdonalds' with 31 votes for its zoomies commercial.
