The Blockhouse Valley Recycling Center, on Blockhouse Valley Road in South Clinton, has expanded the hours that it is open to the public, a press release said.
The recycling center, once open to the public only on Wednesdays and a few Saturdays each month, is now open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, the press release said.
The facility accepts mixed paper, electronics, oil-based paint, spray paint, tires, scrap metal, appliances, fluorescent light bulbs, lead acid and rechargeable batteries, used motor oil and filters, and antifreeze, the press release said. No hazardous waste (solvents, gasoline, diesel fuel, etc.) are accepted.

Raymond Dickover says
Hi, my name is Raymond Dickover of Oak Ridge and am inquiring about me bringing my AC unit to you to evacuate what I think is R-22 and sell the unit for scrap. Or just have you take it off my hands, do what you do, and pocket the recycling money as payment for your services.
Thanks for your reply.
