Welcome to the Stark County, Ohio (CJIS) Criminal Justice Information System Website.

The Stark County Judicial System is comprised of the court of common pleas and three independent municipal courts, each with an elected clerk of court and each maintaining its own database. The CJIS project has provided an independent website for these four courts. In addition, a fifth site was created (The CJIS Website) to merge the data from all the courts of record in Stark County into one database. It is now possible to obtain information from all of the clerks of court databases in the county with one inquiry into a single website.

The CJIS system is the result of an ongoing computer integration project implemented by the Stark County Clerk of Courts and administered by a subcommittee of the Stark County Community Corrections Planning Board, Chaired by Phil G. Giavasis, Clerk of The Canton Municipal Court. The contributors and participants in the CJIS project are pictured above.
